Hello, everybody! I'm Hui En blogging here. Today, I'm going to talk about what happened on 6 November 2006. Our class, 3A, went on an excursion to Christ Church Secondary School to do some rock climbing. It was really FUN! I like the school very much as it is very clean.
Firstly, when we arrived, the trainers introduced themselves. They were very friendly indeed. One of the trainers advised and instructed us what to wear when we go for the climbing. We should wear a harness and a helmet because we have to protect our head. We ought to wear a harness like we wear pants (unless you don't know how to wear pants.) A harness is quite different from pants as you have to tighten the waist and the thigh part (I got a little problem as the belt around my waist was still loose even if I adjust it to the tightest size.) A helmet is almost the same (you just have to tighten it too.)
After we finished wearing the helmet and the harness, it's time for us to climb the two-storey rock! At first, I thought that the rock look short. Anyway, the first person who climbed the wall was Reeduan (if I'm not wrong.) I think he felt scared when he climbed the wall. After many rounds, it was my turn. The trainer would first have to fasten the belt to the rope, then I can start climbing the wall. There was one time I was floating in the air. It was also scary when I looked down from above. I felt very happy to come down as I didn't want to be stuck up there. After everyone in our class had a turn, it was time for 3B's turn to rock climb. While they were rock-climbing, we went to play some games.
