My Ambitions...

Everyone has ambitions. They can be rather big ambitions, like being a lawyer, or they can be small ambitions, like being a cashier. I have my own ambitions too, and some are rather big ones.

My very first one is to be a baker. As you all know, I love, and I mean love baking!! I don't mind the cleaning up as long as it's tasty, I'd say, it's time to bake!! I'm always ready to help my mum to bake. Unfortunately, I'm in the afternoon session, the time when my mum will be baking. At least next year I can help!! Actually, I also love cooking. That's one of my other ambitions. To be a cook. Cool, huh?? :)

Here's some of my experiences cooking:

• I've helped my sisters cook spaghetti before, when my parents and little brother went out shopping. ( I'll tell you how to cook spaghetti in the next entry if you like!)
• I've helped my mum cook noodle soup. ( I love the part where I'm told to peel the onion or garlic's skin!)
• I've helped my mum cook chicken porridge before. ( Mm-mm! Yummy!)

My next ambition, a rather big one, is to be a reporter or newscaster. I've been using the 'Little Red Dot' newspapers that my sister brings home every Tuesday to practise reading aloud. But I didn't just learn about how to read like a reporter or newscaster, I also learnt about what's happening in Singapore and around the world. It certainly is fun to read!!

I'll be trying hard to achieve my ambitions. My main aim is to be a baker. Wish me luck!!
