Celebrating Racial Harmony Day

On 22nd July 2006 evening, my family and I were at the Racial Harmony celebration at the Republic Polytechnic (Trying to use up the tickets that my brother bought from school :) ).
We went to the stage area and waited for the lucky draw to start. My brother was volunteered to help to draw the tickets number, they were 5 prizes to be won ( well , I won't know what was inside as they all wrapped in square nice boxes). We did not win any prize and we thought all hope was lost. However, as my brother volunteered to draw the numbers,he was given a box full of sweets. After that,we watched a drama that was performed by the Republic poly students. They were very talented and the show impressed me a lot. After the show,my brother and I saw a Chinese Calligraphy stall.I tried to write the Chinese character 'ren'.The funny part was that i was supposed to throw a dice to see which number I was supposed to write. Then, when i threw the dice,I threw with too much force and it bounced out of the bowl into the ink!after writing,we got a free Calligraphy brush as a gift.
The End
